Controls

Pumps, valves, and meters may compose the bulk of a flow system, but without controls, the system would be unable to function properly. Controls tell the rest of the system what to do. For example, a meter that is measuring will send information to the controls in order to force actions from other parts of the system, such as an automated batch valve. Controls allow the system’s components to communicate, and ensures interactivity rather than just as a set of separate independent components.

“Controls” can be as simple as a stand-alone temperature controller in a small wall-mount enclosure or it can be as large as PLC-based system with dozens IO racks controlled by multiple processors housed in multi-door enclosures distributed throughout a plant. Your system can be controlling a batching process or it can be controlling a continuous process.

Controls can help with the functionality of many parts of your system. Level sensors, for example, help with the monitoring and control of tank levels, and can be used in conjunction with indoor, outdoor, and horizontal or vertical tanks. They can even be utilized in high temperature applications. We also offer Operator Interfaces such as display meters and HMI touchscreens to help you monitor and control your system.
